Agreement

By checking the agreement box and continuing into the Activity, or by otherwise using the watch party, you agree to these Watch Party Terms and the YouTube Terms of Service. You also acknowledge the Watch Party Privacy Notice and the Google Privacy Policy.

Official YouTube player

This custom Discord Activity uses YouTube's official, visible IFrame Player. The standard player, controls, branding, attribution, related content, and advertisements remain available. The application does not extract, download, hide, proxy, or rebroadcast YouTube video or audio, and it does not bypass advertisements, playback controls, or provider restrictions.

YouTube controls video availability, advertisements, regional and account restrictions, age restrictions, embedding permission, buffering, autoplay behavior, and other player behavior. A video may be unavailable to one or more viewers even when it was accepted into the queue. Private, malformed, unprocessed, non-embeddable, age-restricted, live, upcoming, Made-for-Kids, and otherwise unsupported videos may be rejected.

Community use

Submit only public YouTube links that you are permitted to share. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, harmful, deceptive, or rights-infringing material. Mash Potato Town owners and moderators may remove queue entries, clear a party, restrict controls, or disable access to protect the server and enforce community rules.

Synchronization and availability

Playback synchronization is approximate. The Activity coordinates a shared video, play or pause state, position, and queue, then corrects meaningful drift. Network latency, Discord reconnects, buffering, browser or device behavior, advertisements, and YouTube restrictions can cause temporary or lasting differences between viewers.

The Activity may reconnect and resynchronize without intentionally restarting a video, but uninterrupted playback, exact frame-level synchronization, continuous availability, or availability of a particular video is not guaranteed.

Accounts

No personal YouTube or Spotify account is required or connected by this Activity. Never provide the application, a moderator, or another member with a provider password, verification code, cookie, OAuth token, or other account credential.

Third-party services

Discord hosts the Activity surface, and YouTube supplies the player and media. Their own terms, privacy policies, availability decisions, and enforcement continue to apply independently of Mash Potato Town.
